Dating to the 1940s, this pair of French Art Deco club armchairs is upholstered in richly aged cigar brown leather, displaying deep tonal variation and beautifully distressed character. Their substantial yet streamlined forms embody the celebrated tradition of the French leather club chair.

Each chair features a gently reclined backrest framed by broad sculpted arms that curve outward into rounded side panels. Piped edges trace the silhouette and emphasize the craftsmanship, while seat cushions provide a comfortable, relaxed profile. The fully leather-clad backs finish with traditional brass nailhead detailing, a handsome construction detail that looks equally attractive from behind.
