The clean rectilinear forms let the richly figured burl surfaces take center stage, showcasing swirling grain, clusters of knots, and natural variations that give each piece its own character.

Each nightstand features three generously sized drawers with minimalist round brass pulls. The burl wood continues across the tops and sides, creating a cohesive cabinet-like form, while recessed brass plinth bases add a warm metallic contrast and give the substantial cases an elevated appearance. The hardware and simple silhouette were thoughtful choices, allowing the expressive wood grain to remain the defining feature.

Founded in the mid-20th century, Founders became known for well-made American modern furniture and for its sophisticated use of distinctive woods.
